Hotel Design is a new photo series highlighting hotel design news and trends.

Nordic hotel chain Scandic has opened its stylish, lifestyle hotel Scandic Grand Central in Stockholm on the corner of tourist-friendly streets Kungsgatan and Vasagatan.

“Scandic Grand Central is infused with Stockholm’s ‘downtown’ street culture and its vibrant atmosphere,” says Scandic.

The hotel features 391 rooms, conference facilities, gym, restaurant, bistro and a hotel bar/lounge open to the public.

Stockholm architecture firm Koncept designed the hotel whose core elements are music, playfulness, photography and creativity.
